about

Strawberrier's long-awaited magnum opus! Universally declared to be a disappointment of epic proportions! Get it for free right now!

The physical release included a poem by the late great Greg Eldridge, which goes like this:

Moreover now nor change of fodder serves,
And subtlest cures but injure; then were foiled
The masters, Strawberrier sprung from Folsom.
See!
From Suburban darkness launched into the light
Comes raging pale Allred; he drives
Disease and fear before him, day by day
With the scream of his horn. Yet
Folsom folk live tameless, buffeted with blasts
of the dreadlocked sax, and wrap
Their bodies in the bane of Eldridgian nasality.
Even with such showy bribe of cool, if ear
May trust the God of Shoe-mbourine,
And all antiquated Italian film themes beside,
Who else had charmed the vacant minds with Song in C?
Thee too, great Peet, will I gypsy hymn, and thee,
Shepherd of Rincon, worthy to be sung...

Strawberrier was Greg Eldridge (accordion, percussion), David Allred (bass, trumpet), and Daniel Nickerson (guitar, cello, bari sax, vocals). Occasionally our buddies Andy Page (alto sax) and Dan Talamantes (mandolin) helped out too. The album was recorded in various bedrooms throughout Folsom, CA. The artwork (not the photoshop) was done by Austin Lillywhite.
